Our Privacy Policy

At Trotting Dog we value the trust and confidence of all our customers and website visitors. We’d therefore like you to know we will not sell, rent or trade any of our email lists with other companies or business for marketing. This privacy policy sets out some of the ways we do this, by telling you when we will collect your data, how we keep it safe, what we do with it, and the very limited conditions under which we might have to disclose it to others.

Mailing Lists

When you register to receive our e-newsletter, we collect some of your personal information. We use that information to contact you with marketing updates, offers, and news from Trotting Dog, and also to check that our records are correct and you are happy with the products you receive from us. We do not rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.

Our e-newsletter is delivered by a third-party provider, called Mailchimp. Their platform gathers statistics for us on email opening and clicks, so we can keep improving them for our subscribers in the future. For more information you can read Mailchimp’s privacy notice here.

Google Analytics

Every time someone visits we use a third party service called Google Analytics to collect internet log information, and details of visitor activity. This is so we can look at how visitors are using our site, allowing us to make improvements to the customer experience. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone, and neither Google or ourselves will attempt to use this to find our the identities of any of our site visitors.
